So, I registered an American friend's number to both the US Paypal acct and the Bank of America acct without issue. JP bank account to JP Paypal and JP Paypal to US Paypal works fine, but when I went to withdraw the money from my American Paypal account to my American bank account, it needs phone number verification. I need to transfer money to my American accounts from my Japanese accounts. I am an American and I still have an American bank account and Paypal account as well. I obviously have a Japanese bank account.

So, I moved to Japan in 2012, and have lived here since then.
